The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Warriors Group

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a colorful mix of heroes, and a gripping narrative showcasing divine entities, fiends, and sinister influences increasing in power within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Revealing details for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced

The third episode ended with a huge suspense moment and revealed the initial group of adventurers who will separate from the primary party to undertake their separate journey, apart from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team includes the determined fighter (played by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura), Tyranny (Whitney), Wicander (Sam), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

Considering 13 cast members, it was clear from the start that having everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

Hence, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, weaving together the individual narratives before dividing into three separate parties: Warriors, Planners, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Combat Party

According to the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for players who enjoy a typically action-packed battle-oriented narrative style where diplomatic options are rare.

Upon first impression, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might look mismatched, but the developments of episode 3 show why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

First, the group understands precisely where to go next after a intense first encounter with the enemy group.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose passing kicked off the story’s plot—exploited the enemy for his own means, invading the hidden lair, striking the character, and stealing all the enchanted items to sell off.

Casimir then cleared his liabilities and ran away to a secure base in the northern region, north of the urban center, with Cyd close behind.

Character Drivers

Moreover, each character has a specific drive to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as the close ally and closest confidant, wants revenge.
  • Kattigan knows the northern area and cautions that it is a nasty environment.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having disobeyed his family’s wishes to kill the target and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • But, their status as important members in the influential clan could enable the party enter areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, Teor vowed a life debt to Wicander for his salvation and will now follow him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are hunted by the authorities that govern the setting for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are known criminals.
  • The warrior and Wicander defied the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
  • Teor is marked for death by House Halovar.

This leaves them little choice but to head to the remote area in search of the traitor.

Future Episodes

Based on the latest episode’s post-show segment, we find out that the warrior group will not appear the following episode, leaving the remaining eight cast members to form the Questers and Schemers groups.

Fans can anticipate discovering which characters will be in which group in the season’s last Overture episode, streaming live on the upcoming Thursday.
